Routine appointments
Appointments are available each morning for booking on the same day. To obtain these appointments you should ring the practice as soon as possible after 8.00 a.m.
You can also book appointments in advance; the waiting time depends on how busy we are. Usually you will be able to book advance appointments a week in advance, but the waiting time will sometimes be less. If you do book in advance, you will be more likely to be able to see the doctor of your choice. The doctors work together so you do not have to see your usual doctor. Our standard appointment times are 10 minutes. Please advise the receptionist when making your appointment if you expect you may need more time.
Urgent appointments
If your need is urgent we will always see you on the same day, but it may not be possible to see the doctor of your choice. Before giving you such an appointment, the doctor may need to assess how your problem can be best managed and whether the appointment can be delayed to another day.
We also encourage patients , wherever possible, not to attend local Accident & Emergency Departments and we would draw your attention to the GP Walk-in Centre at 101 Peckham Road. As the name suggests, you can just walk-in, but you can also telephone ahead on 020 3049 8430.The centre is open 8 am to 8 pm every day including weekends and Bank Holidays
Waiting
Some problems take longer to sort out than others and surgeries may run late. Please do bear with us. We do try to keep our waiting times to a minimum.
